Becoming Virtuous

What if, in our daily conversations, we spent more time talking about how we see God working around us, and less time on what evil men are doing?

What if we spent more time highlighting light instead of darkness?

Or what if we at least settled for a 50/50 split?

I’m realizing that the Psalms are an excellent picture of doing both. David was very honest with God about his trials, but he also intentionally sought to see how God was working in the midst of them and praise Him through them.

How often do we get stuck on the complaining, and never make it to the praising?
